We take corrections seriously.
Agye Din is a biographical database. Accuracy is our product. If something is wrong, we want to know — and we will fix it.
How to submit a correction
Every profile on Agye Din has a Suggest a Correction link at the bottom of the page. Use it to report any of the following:
- Wrong name, birth date, birth place, or death date
- Incorrect career information, awards, or achievements
- Wrong net worth figure or missing net worth update
- Wrong spouse, family details, or education information
- Outdated information (new album, new position, new award)
- Offensive, defamatory, or private information that should be removed
- Wrong or uncredited photo

What happens after you submit
Every correction request follows this workflow:
- Submission received — your request is logged and assigned to our editorial queue.
- Editorial review — an editor checks the claim against the source you provided and at least one additional independent reference.
- Decision made — the correction is either applied, partially applied, or declined with a reason.
- Profile updated — if applied, the profile is updated. The Last Reviewed date is refreshed.
- Response sent — where contact details are provided, we notify the submitter of the outcome.
What we need from you
To process a correction efficiently, please include:
- The profile or article URL
- Exactly what is wrong
- What the correct information is
- A source link (news article, official website, award organisation record, official social media) supporting your correction
We cannot apply corrections based solely on personal knowledge, family claims, or anonymous tips without supporting evidence. This protects the integrity of the database for everyone.
Timeframe
We aim to review all correction requests within 5 business days. Urgent corrections (for example, defamatory content, incorrect death dates, or privacy-sensitive information) are prioritised and addressed as quickly as possible.
What we will not change
- Net worth figures based on a personal claim alone — estimates are clearly labelled and sourced to public reporting.
- Factual historical records that are well-documented in reputable Ghanaian publications.
- Editorial commentary or analysis — these are clearly labelled as opinion where they appear.
Transparent corrections
Where a significant factual error has been corrected, we note the change in our internal editorial log. We do not publish a corrections trail on every profile, but our Last Reviewed date is updated whenever changes are made.
