We hold ourselves to a
higher standard.
Agye Din is committed to accurate, fair, and respectful information about Ghana's public figures. Here's exactly how our content is sourced, reviewed, and maintained.
Our Mission
Agye Din exists to celebrate, document, and preserve the stories of Ghanaian personalities, from entertainers and athletes to academics and business leaders. We aim to be the most reliable English-language reference for Ghanaian public life.
How Profiles Are Compiled
Every profile on Agye Din is assembled from multiple publicly available sources:
- Wikipedia and Wikimedia Commons
- Official social media accounts (verified where possible)
- Reputable Ghanaian and international news publications
- Press releases and official statements
- Wikidata structured data for birth dates, nationality, and career facts
We do not publish information obtained from private sources, anonymous tips, or unverifiable claims.
Accuracy & Editorial Review
Every biography is compiled from public sources and reviewed by our editorial team before publication. Our review process ensures that:
- Content draws only on information already in the public domain.
- Every profile is checked by our editorial team before publication.
- Factual fields (birth date, nationality, net worth, social media handles) are set and verified by human editors against reputable sources.
- Net worth figures are clearly labelled as estimates.
We do not fabricate quotes, invent biographical details, or publish content that cannot be traced to a public source.
Accuracy and Corrections
We strive for accuracy but acknowledge that information changes. Net worth figures are estimates based on publicly reported data. Ages and relationship statuses are updated as information becomes available.
If you identify an error, please contact our editorial team. We commit to reviewing all correction requests within 5 business days and updating profiles where warranted.
Fairness and Sensitivity
We cover public figures in their public capacity. We do not publish:
- Unverified rumours or speculation
- Private health information not disclosed by the individual
- Information about minor children of public figures
- Content that could constitute defamation or harassment
Profile Removal and Right to Correction
Public figures or their authorised representatives may contact us to request corrections to factual errors. In cases where continued publication poses demonstrable harm and there is no overriding public interest, we will consider removal requests on a case-by-case basis.
Commercial Independence
Editorial decisions are made independently of our advertising relationships. Advertisers have no influence over which profiles are published, how they are written, or the ranking of individuals on leaderboards. Sponsored content, if any, is clearly labelled as such.
Updates to This Policy
This policy is reviewed and updated periodically. Material changes will be noted at the top of this page.
