Efia Odo

Andrea Owusu, known professionally as Efia Odo, is a Ghanaian actress, broadcaster, singer and social media personality. She returned from the United States in the mid-2010s to act and became one of the most-followed entertainers in Ghana, with a reputation for speaking her mind online. She is one of the faces of the reality series GH Queens.

Juaben to New York

She was born on 18 July 1993 in Juaben in the Ashanti Region. Her mother moved to the United States when Efia was a baby, and Efia joined her there at the age of five. She studied psychology at Nyack College in New York and worked as an assistant nurse before deciding to try showbiz in Ghana.

Screen and radio

Her first film was She Prayed in 2015. She went on to appear in Apples and Bananas (2018), Akwaaba (2019) and Fix Us (2019). She also hosted a morning show on Kwese TV and presented on Okay FM. On GH Queens, which follows women in Ghana's entertainment industry, she has been part of the main cast since the early seasons.

Efia Odo has released songs including "Wo Be Di", "Getting To The Bag" and "Freak", along with freestyles posted to her social pages.

Family

Her sister is the social media personality Princess AP. Efia has said in interviews that she is single.
