Enock Darko

Enock Darko, known on social media as "Watabombshell", is a Ghanaian actor and comedian who has built much of his screen career in Nigeria's Nollywood film industry.

Early fame

Darko first came to national attention as a child. In 2011 he finished as second runner-up on the second season of TV3's talent show for children, which launched his career as a young comedian in Ghana.

Nollywood

He later moved to Nigeria to pursue acting, and his comic timing carried over well into film. He has appeared in productions including Woman on Fire, A Bombshell and Joro, and has become one of the best known Ghanaian faces working in Nollywood. Alongside his film roles he creates comedy skits for Instagram and other platforms, where his "Watabombshell" persona has a large following.

Personal life

Darko is married to Nigerian actress Chinenye Nnebe, a fellow Nollywood star. Their relationship and wedding drew wide attention from fans in both Ghana and Nigeria, and the couple share moments of their life together with their audience online.
