He was born at Osu in Accra, attended Mfantsipim School and earned a bachelor's degree in economics and mathematics at the University of Ghana.
Career
He made his TV debut in the 2012 series Xoxo. His films include A Sting in a Tale (2009), 4Play Reloaded (2010), Honour My Tears, Every Woman Has a Story (2015), Wedding Night (2016) and Joseph (2019), a Year of Return film made with a Barbados production company. On TV he has appeared in Sadia (2017), Eden (2020) and 13 Kinds of Women (2024). His Tigo advert "Drop That Yam", with Naa Ashorkor, made him a household name.
Awards
He won Best Dressed Male Celebrity at the 2015 Ghana Movie Awards, and was nominated for Supporting Actor in a Drama Series at the 2018 Ghana Movie Awards.
