Nigel Gaisie
Prophet, General Overseer of Prophetic Hill Chapel
About Nigel Gaisie
Nigel Gaisie is a Ghanaian prophet and the General Overseer of Prophetic Hill Chapel (PHC) in Accra. He is one of the country's most talked-about preachers, known for public prophecies that often draw controversy.
Ministry
His church was first called True Word Prophetic Fire Ministry (TWPFM). He later renamed it Prophetic Hill Chapel, saying the change came by divine instruction, and the church began building a new auditorium at Dome, on Greenhill Street.
Prophecies and controversy
Gaisie has made headlines several times over prophecies about public figures. One of the most debated involved the late Ejisu MP and Deputy Finance Minister Dr John Kumah. After Kumah's death in 2024, his widow said publicly that Gaisie's prophecy about her husband had been based on prior knowledge of his illness, and the exchange between them was widely reported.
In October 2026 the authorities banned preaching and hawking on public transport while vehicles are moving. In a Facebook post on 8 October 2026 Gaisie rejected the ban, saying he would keep preaching on buses and lorries and inviting the authorities to arrest him.
