Prince David Osei

Prince David Osei is one of the most recognisable leading men of Ghanaian cinema, a charismatic actor, producer and philanthropist whose success at home carried him into the Nigerian film industry and continental stardom.

Early life

He was born on 6 December 1983 in Accra, the third of seven children. He had his early education in Accra before pursuing his ambition of a career on screen.

Breakthrough

He joined the Ghanaian film industry in 2005, starting with minor roles and auditions, and rose to fame in 2006 with the blockbuster Fortune Island, which earned him a Best Actor award at the City People Entertainment Awards. The success established him as one of Ghallywood's leading men.
