Atta Kwami (1956–2021) was a Ghanaian painter, printmaker, curator and independent art historian. Educated and later a teacher at KNUST in Kumasi as well as in the United Kingdom, he was celebrated for vivid abstractions that drew on Ghanaian architecture and the strip-woven textiles of the Ewe and Asante.
