Kuukua Maurice Ankrah serves as Board Chair of Ghana Grid Company Limited, known as GRIDCo, the state-owned company responsible for operating and developing Ghana's national electricity transmission system. GRIDCo's infrastructure connects power generation sources, including hydroelectric dams, thermal power plants, and increasingly renewable energy projects, to the distribution utilities that deliver electricity to homes, businesses, and industrial consumers across the country. Its transmission system is, quite literally, the backbone of Ghana's electricity supply chain.

The governance of Ghana's electricity transmission infrastructure carries enormous responsibility.
