About Antoinette Kwofie
Antoinette Kwofie has been chief finance officer and an executive director of MTN Ghana since 1 October 2021. In 2025 listed companies elected her to the Ghana Stock Exchange's governing council for 2025 to 2027.
Career
She joined Barclays, now Absa, in 2007 and worked as a finance business partner, head of business performance and analytics, and financial controller before becoming the bank's CFO in 2013. She moved to MTN in 2021. She is a non-executive director of MoMo from MTN (Mobile Money Fintech) and GAB Health Insurance, and earlier sat on the boards of the Minerals Income Investment Fund (2019 to 2021) and Phoenix Insurance (2016 to 2020). She has been honoured at the Women's Choice Awards Africa and named TheCFO magazine's CFO of the week.
