Apostle John Prah

Apostle John Prah occupies a unique position in Ghana's entertainment landscape: he is simultaneously a working actor in Kumawood, an ordained minister of the gospel, and a recording musician. That combination of roles is not a contradiction in his life but rather a coherent expression of values he has carried from his roots in Nsawam in the Eastern Region of Ghana.

He received his education at Benkum Senior High School, Oda Senior High School, and later at Apam Senior School, where he completed his Advanced Level certificate. Apostle John Prah's acting career has produced more than fifty film appearances, with notable titles including Sakawa 419 (2009), Osofo Mafia (2011), and Area Boys (2011).
