About Beeztrap KOTM
Beeztrap KOTM, born Edwin Eshun on 17 October 1999, is one of the leading names in the Asakaa drill scene. He blends drill with hiplife, hip hop, Afrobeats and highlife, and in 2025 he was named Best New Artiste at the Telecel Ghana Music Awards.
Early life
He grew up in Kumasi and attended Kumasi Anglican Senior High School.
Career
He began releasing music in 2018 with songs such as Distance Relationship and Cinderella. His 2023 EP Different Type of Gangster ran to seven tracks and featured fellow Asakaa acts O'Kenneth, Reggie and City Boy. In 2024 Fly Girl with Oseikrom Sikanii became his biggest record, and a remix added Gyakie. The same year brought Bad Feeling with Tulenkey, Yesu, and Amen with Sarkodie, and 3Music Awards named him Next Rated Act.
His debut album Power arrived in August 2025 with 16 tracks and guests including Sarkodie, Gyakie and Himra. He has also worked with Skyface SDW, Camidoh and Stonebwoy.
