Berla Mundi

Berla Mundi has co-hosted the Ghana Music Awards six times in a row, including the 20th edition in 2019 alongside Kwami Sefa Kayi. Her broadcasting career began after she finished second runner-up at Miss Malaika in 2010.

Education

Berlinda Addardey was born in Accra on 1 April 1988; her mother is Mama Ruby Mundi. She attended St. Theresa's School and Achimota School, studied linguistics and psychology at the University of Ghana, and has also studied French at the Alliance Francaise and journalism at GIJ, as well as a Harvard Business School executive course.

Television

After Miss Malaika she co-hosted and later judged the pageant. She spent five years at GHOne TV before moving to TV3, and hosted Moments with Mo, which she says was Africa's first syndicated show on DStv. She has hosted MTN Hitmaker, the Global Citizen Festival in Accra and the Grammy Africa nominee brunch. Her awards include TV female entertainment show host of the year at the 2018 RTP Awards and Most Stylish Media Personality at the 2017 Glitz Style Awards.

Advocacy and family

She set up the Berla Mundi Foundation in 2015 and a mentoring project for young women in 2018, and founded the B.You project. She married David Tabi in a private ceremony in Accra on 5 January 2024.
