Ebenezer Donkor

Ebenezer Donkor, popularly known as Katawere, was a Ghanaian actor best known for his role in the television series Efiewura, which made him one of the most familiar faces on Ghanaian TV.

Career

He was born in 1938. Over a career of more than thirty years he starred in several television drama series in the 1990s and appeared in more than twenty Kumawood films. His role in Efiewura, the comedy series about a landlord and his tenants, made him a household name, and the character's name stuck to him.

Death

He died on 14 November 2016 at Opoku Ware Hospital in Cantonments, Accra, after two years of illness.
