Esther Godwyll is a Ghanaian gospel singer and worship minister. Her song I Choose to Praise, a tribute to her late mentor KODA, won Best Female Vocal Performance at the 2025 Ghana Music Awards.
Career
Her ministry was discovered and shaped by the gospel singer KODA (Kofi Owusu Dua Anto), whom she has described as a father figure and mentor. She released Faithful God in 2021 and the project Ghanaian Worship in 2023.
She released I Choose to Praise in 2024 in memory of KODA. The song won Best Female Vocal Performance at the 26th Ghana Music Awards in 2025. Later releases include Al Tivi (Live) (2025) and Aseda (2026).
She has said that gospel music is a tool for transformation rather than entertainment.
