Freezy MacBones
Professional Boxer
About Freezy MacBones
Freezy MacBones turned professional in London in 2017 and drew comparisons with Mike Tyson, plus attention from rapper 50 Cent, with his knockout videos. He later came home to box and tried to reach the Olympics with Ghana's Black Bombers.
Bimma to London
Seth Gyimah was born and raised in Bimma in the Ashanti Region. He moved to London in 2012 and worked as a kitchen porter before taking up boxing. An early win over Darryl Sharp at the Copper Box Arena got him noticed.
Ghana bouts and Olympic bid
He joined the Black Bombers for Olympic qualifying but lost in Dakar in September 2023, then left the national team to focus on professional boxing. In December 2023 he knocked out Oladimeji Salami in Accra in his first fight in Ghana. After a stopped national title bout in November, he accused the Ghana Boxing Authority of wrecking his hopes of a WBO title shot and said he would box as a UK national. Outside the ring he sells Freezy Chips, a plantain chips brand.
