Ola Michael

Ola Michael, born Michael Kwaku Ola Ntiamoah, is a Ghanaian radio presenter and entertainment commentator. He hosts Entertainment GH on Neat FM 100.9, the Accra station owned by Despite Media, and is known for blunt opinions on celebrities and the business of Ghanaian showbiz.

Entertainment GH

His weekday show on Neat FM mixes entertainment news, interviews and long on-air commentary, and episodes are streamed and posted on YouTube. His commentary is outspoken, and his remarks about celebrities often spill over into social media debate.

McBrown and Despite Media

One of his best-known outbursts came on 13 March 2023, when the actress Nana Ama McBrown left UTV, also owned by Despite Media, for Media General's Onua TV. On air, Ola Michael accused her of disloyalty. "If there is anybody who ever worked here and should be grateful to the owners of this company, it should be our sister Nana Ama," he said, arguing that the company had carried her "to a higher pedestal".

Daddy Lumba

In December 2025, amid public disputes over the family of the late highlife star Daddy Lumba, he claimed that Lumba had moved back to Ghana from Germany in 2010 to be with Odo Broni rather than for medical treatment, and that he had left his first wife, Akosua Serwaa, who had helped him secure German citizenship. The claims drew wide reaction, as his commentary often does.
