About Quamina MP
Quamina MP taught himself to make beats around 2014 after he had to leave university because his parents could no longer pay. Three years later the talent platform Ground Up Chale picked him up, and "Wiase Y3d3" made his name.
Roots
Emmanuel Kwamina Amonoo was born in Takoradi on 11 September 1993 and grew up in Mankessim, where he went to basic school. He attended St Mary's Senior High School and started at Ghana Communication Technology University. In November 2020 his father died in a road accident while the two were travelling together.

His songs include "Ohia Y3 Forkin", "Wo Y3 Guy", "Amanfuor Girls", "Feel Okay", "Back to Sender" with Kofi Kinaata and, in 2024, "Before You Go" with Camidoh. He has released the EPs African Print and Bongo and performed at Rapperholic, Afrochella, Detty Rave and the Ghana Music Awards, as well as shows in London and Manchester.
