Afronitaa

Afronitaaa, born Danita Akosua Adomaah Yeboah, is a Ghanaian dance artist, choreographer and co-founder of the AfroStar Kids Academy. She is best known internationally for finishing third on the 17th series of Britain's Got Talent in 2024.

Early years at DWP

Born in Accra, she discovered her passion for dance as a teenager and joined the Dance With A Purpose (DWP) Academy in 2018 at the age of 14. Her consistency quickly made her one of Ghana's leading female dancers, and in 2020 she was named Female Dancer of the Year at the Ghana Youth Entertainment Awards. She studied at the University of Ghana Business School, graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree.

Britain's Got Talent

In 2024 Afronitaaa and her then dance partner Abigail Adjiri became the first Ghanaian dancers to appear on Britain's Got Talent. Abigail has a hearing impairment, and the pair's performances won over audiences on the way to the final, where they placed third. Their run was celebrated across Ghana as a landmark moment for the country's dance scene.

AfroStar Kids Academy

Later in 2024 she left DWP and co-founded AfroStar Kids Academy, a dance school for children. She is also a social media influencer with a large following for her dance content.
