About Collins Owusu Amankwah
Collins Owusu Amankwah is a broadcaster and lawyer who represented Manhyia North in Kumasi for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) for two terms, from 2013 to 2021. He was born on 21 August 1980 and comes from Gyinyase.
An old student of Kumasi High School, Amankwah studied sociology at the University of Ghana and law at GIMPA. He was general manager of All Friends FM in Kumasi and ran the Clean City Initiative as executive director. He won Manhyia North in 2012 and was re-elected in 2016 with about 72 percent of the vote. He is married with two children. Akwasi Konadu now holds the seat.
