Essumann

Essumann is a Ghanaian rapper who makes trap and drill-influenced hip hop. He had his biggest hit in 2026 with Big Bricks II, a remix featuring Medikal and Lalid whose video passed 1.5 million views on YouTube within months. He released his debut album, Ghetto Therapy P.T. II, on 25 September 2026.

Early features

His name first appeared on streaming services in 2021 as a guest on Wano Dede by Quesi Blake, with Kelvin Black, and on Fayorsey's Saman Puom alongside the same two rappers. In 2023 he featured on Sean Peezy's Tough.

Ghetto Therapy

He started releasing his own music in April 2023 with Ghetto Therapy, the title that would later frame his album. Cemetery Flow 2 followed in June and Cheddar in August. In 2024 he kept up a steady run of singles: This Is Me..., Stir It Up with Kojo Trilla, Pray, Pain Diaries and One Day. Pain, faith and the hustle to get out of hard circumstances are recurring themes.

In My Head Alone But Not Alone

His first project, the five-track EP In My Head Alone But Not Alone, came out in September 2024. It includes One Day, Cemetery Flow 2 and Fighting, plus Pray More featuring Fameye and No Rain No Flowers with Mangodance. The visualizer and lifestyle videos for Cemetery Flow 2 each passed 170,000 views on YouTube.

Big Bricks

In November 2025 he released Big Bricks with Lalid, and in February 2026 a remix, Big Bricks II, added Medikal. Ameyaw Debrah described the drill-inspired record, about hustle, resilience and ambition, as a viral hit, and it became by far his most watched video.

Ghetto Therapy P.T. II

His debut album, Ghetto Therapy P.T. II, arrived on 25 September 2026 with 11 tracks, released independently under his own name. Guests include Medikal and Lalid on Big Bricks II, AratheJay and Kojo Trap on Too Many Nights II, and Quamina MP and Kofi Mole on On Ma Mind.
