Kwaku Manu left junior high school to work with his father, a shoemaker, before finding his way into Kumawood comedy through Agya Koo's production company. Today he is as well known for his YouTube interview show as for his films.
Background
He was born on 6 March 1984 to Agya Yaw Nimo, a shoemaker and trader from Amankyem, and grew up in the Ashanti Region.
Career
His first film was Aware So, and he went on to comic roles in Mallam Issah (2010), Ewiase Ahennie (2011), Susubiribi (2013), Purple (2016), The List (2017), Baby Mama (2019) and Who Is Your Guy? (2023). He hosts Aggressive Interview on his channel, Kwaku Manu TV, and released his first single, "E'nfa Nhoahoa Ho", in 2012, later working with Fameye and Kuami Eugene. He owns KM Perfumes in Madina.
Charity and family
His foundation has donated food to widows in Kumasi, and in 2025 he gave the veteran actress Adwoa Smart land and cement to build a home. He is divorced with four children.
