Maurecia Babiinoti Boduong was born on 10 March 1990 to retired Major Boduong and Tina Boduong, one of five children. She went to school in Kumasi and then at Accra Girls' Senior High, and earned a diploma in theatre, music and dance from the University of Ghana.

She worked as a TV presenter, actress and model. In early 2024 she suffered a stroke that affected the right side of her body, her movement and her speech. Her brother, Ebito Boduong, started a fundraiser for her treatment, and after almost a year bedridden she began sharing signs of recovery online.
