About Nii Amasah Namoale
Nii Amasah Namoale is an agronomist and diplomat who represented La Dadekotopon in Accra for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) from 2009 to 2017, served as a Deputy Minister for Food and Agriculture and was appointed Ghana's ambassador to Brazil in 2025. He was born on 14 July 1958 and comes from La.
Namoale attended Accra High School and Ofori Panin Secondary School and took an MPhil in agronomy at the University of Cape Coast. He was an assistant director at the Ministry of Food and Agriculture. He won the seat in 2008 and 2012 but lost narrowly in 2016 to the NPP's Vincent Sowah Odotei. He belongs to the Church of Christ and is married with three children. Rita Naa Odoley Sowah of the NDC holds the seat today.
