About Nii Oakley Quaye-Kumah
Dr Nii Oakley Quaye-Kumah is a veterinary surgeon who represented Krowor in Accra for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for two terms, from 2009 to 2017. He was born on 26 September 1959 and comes from Nungua.
Quaye-Kumah trained as a vet in Ukraine, earning a Master of Veterinary Science in 1989, and ran Beach Animal Hospital in Nungua and Westland Animal Hospital in West Legon. He did not seek a third term because of ill health, and Agnes Naa Momo Lartey, who holds the seat today, took over as the NDC candidate. He worships at the International Central Gospel Church and is married with six children.
