About Vincent Sowah Odotei
Vincent Sowah Odotei is a New Patriotic Party (NPP) politician who represented La Dadekotopon in Accra from 2017 to 2021 and served as a Deputy Minister for Communications until April 2020. He was born in Accra on 5 May 1968.
Odotei studied at the University of Ghana and took a postgraduate diploma at the University of Strathclyde's business school in Scotland. In 2016 he unseated the NDC's Nii Amasah Namoale by about 1,600 votes. As deputy minister he represented the ministry at the World Summit Awards Grand Jury in Accra in 2018. President Akufo-Addo ended his appointment on 6 April 2020. Rita Naa Odoley Sowah of the NDC holds the seat today.
