About William Ofori Boafo
William Ofori Boafo is a lawyer who represented Akropong in the Eastern Region for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) for three terms, from 2005 to 2017. He was born on 30 December 1946 and comes from Akropong.
Boafo studied law at the University of Ghana, graduating in 1969, and qualified at the Ghana School of Law in 1970. He was a partner at Onimpa Akouku and Company. In Parliament he sat on the Defence and Interior and Standing Orders committees. He is a Presbyterian, married with one child. Sammi Awuku holds Akropong today.
