Rashidatu Yasmine Abdulai

Rashidatu Yasmine Abdulai is a Ghanaian media and technology executive and the chief executive of 3Media Networks, the company behind 3Music TV and the 3Music Awards. She took over from founder Sadiq Abdulai Abu, who had led the company for its first five years.

Background

Abdulai brings more than 17 years of experience in digital and traditional business-to-business strategy, sales, marketing and customer experience. Before moving into media she held senior roles in telecommunications and ICT at MainOne, Busy Internet, Vodafone Ghana and Tigo Ghana.

3Media Networks

As chief executive she oversees one of Ghana's most active entertainment companies. Its properties include the annual 3Music Awards, which returned in 2024 after a year's break, as well as the Fan Festival, the Women's Brunch, the Wildaland Festival and Banana Ball WKND. The company also runs outreach such as a mentorship programme for students with AirtelTigo.

Recognition

Abdulai was named among Ghana's Top 50 Young CEOs by Avance Media and YCEO Africa, recognition that reflects her move from corporate telecoms into leading a major music and media business.
