About Samuel Kweku Obodai
Samuel Kweku Obodai is a chemist who represented Agona West in the Central Region for the New Patriotic Party (NPP). He was born on 29 April 1960 and comes from Agona Nyakrom.
He studied chemistry and education at the University of Cape Coast, graduating in 1987, and later took a master's in democratic governance there. He worked for Major and Co Manufacturing. He first won Agona West in 2000 with 57.5 percent of the vote and sat in the Fifth Parliament, from 2009 to 2013. Charles Obeng-Inkoom of the NDC took the seat in 2012. He worships with the Church of Pentecost and is married with four children. Ernestina Ofori Dangbey of the NDC holds Agona West today.
