SP Kofi Sarpong is a police officer and gospel singer whose song "Ayeyi Ndwom", from his 2010 debut album Sacrifice, won Gospel Song of the Year at the Ghana Music Awards.

He says he never sought fame and took up music only after his manager, Kwesi Ernest, pressed him to go commercial. His police duties come first: if the Inspector-General needs him he puts that before any show, and he has performed in uniform. His second album, Agyenkwa ("Saviour"), was launched at Kanda Presbyterian Church in 2011, and I Believe, with "Hour By This Time", followed in 2015. Reports over the years have given his rank as Superintendent and later Assistant Commissioner of Police.
