Adjetey Anang

Adjetey Anang is one of the most respected and enduring actors in Ghanaian film and theatre, a performer whose role as Pusher in the beloved series Things We Do for Love made him a household name and launched a career now spanning more than two decades.

Early life and training

He was born on 7 July 1973. He trained formally in the craft, earning a first-class degree in fine arts from the School of Performing Arts at the University of Ghana, a grounding in theatre that has underpinned the discipline of his screen work.

Things We Do for Love

His breakthrough came with the hugely popular television series Things We Do for Love, in which his character Pusher became a national favourite. The role made him one of the most recognisable actors in the country and remains closely associated with his name.
