About Dominic Azimbe Azumah
Dominic Azimbe Azumah is an accountant who represented Garu-Tempane in the Upper East Region for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) across five parliaments and served as a Minister of State under President Mills.
Azumah trained in local government administration at the Institute of Local Government Studies. He won the seat in the 1992 election and held it until 2000, when he lost to the independent Akuka Albert Alalzuuga. He won it back in 2004 and represented the area until January 2017. He is a Catholic, married with four children. Anabah Thomas Winsum of the NDC holds Garu today.
