About Salifu Adam Braimah
Salifu Adam Braimah (25 September 1965 – 12 April 2026) was a New Patriotic Party (NPP) politician who represented Salaga South in the then Northern Region from 2017 to 2021 and served as Savannah Regional Minister. He was the son of Joseph Adam Braimah.
Braimah, known to family and friends as Uncle Sally, died after a short illness at the University of Ghana Hospital in Accra on 12 April 2026, aged 60. The NPP in the Savannah Region suspended its activities in mourning, and his body was taken to Salaga for burial. Zuwera Mohammed Ibrahimah of the NDC holds Salaga South today.
