About Samson Abu
Samson Abu is a health administrator who represented Lawra in the Upper West Region for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) from 2013 to 2017. He was born on 18 December 1969 and comes from Dikpe.
Abu taught in the Ghana Education Service from 1994 to 2000, studied administration at the University of Ghana and became a health service administrator at Lawra Hospital. He was District Chief Executive from 2005 to 2013. After losing the 2016 primary to Bede Ziedeng he ran as an independent. He is a Catholic, married with four children. Ziedeng holds Lawra today.
