About Samuel Johnfiah
Samuel Johnfiah is a rural banker who represented Ahanta West in the Western Region for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) for three terms, from 2001 to 2013. He was born on 9 September 1952 and comes from Hotopo.
He studied general agriculture at the University of Ghana and governance at GIMPA, and was deputy general manager of Ahantaman Rural Bank. He won Ahanta West in 2000 with 60.9 percent of the vote and held it until 2012, when George Kwame Aboagye of the NDC took it. He is a Methodist, married with six children. Mavis Kuukua Bissue of the NDC holds the seat today.
