About Samuel Kwadwo Amoako
Samuel Kwadwo Amoako is an academic who represented Abuakwa North in the Eastern Region for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) from 2009 to 2013. He was born at Kukurantumi on 20 March 1943.
He studied at Howard University and Columbia University in the United States and lectured at the City University of New York. He won Abuakwa North in 2008 with 59.1 percent of the vote after taking the NPP ticket from the sitting MP, J. B. Danquah-Adu, who won it back from him in the 2012 primary. He is a Methodist, married with six children. Nana Ampaw Kwame Addo-Frempong of the NPP holds the seat today.
