About Samuel Evans Ashong Narh

Samuel Evans Ashong Narh is an engineer and former Tema mayor who represented Tema East in the Greater Accra Region for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) from 2009 to 2013. He was born on 5 March 1943 and comes from Tema Manhean.

He trained in mechanical engineering and technology in Ghana and Poland and was production manager at GHACEM, the cement maker, before serving as Tema Metropolitan Chief Executive. He won Tema East in 2008. Daniel Nii Kwartei Titus-Glover followed him for the NPP in 2013. He is a Presbyterian. Isaac Ashai Odamtten of the NDC holds Tema East today.
