About Samuel Ayeh-Paye
Samuel Ayeh-Paye is a transport engineer who represented Ayensuano in the Eastern Region for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) for three terms, from 2009 to 2021. He was born on 17 May 1973 and comes from Aburi.
Ayeh-Paye trained at Accra Polytechnic and the Accra Technical Training Centre and managed vehicle fleets before politics: transport manager in the Accra Metropolitan Assembly's waste department, workshop manager at Metro Mass Transit and assistant technical manager at the DVLA. In Parliament he spoke often on road safety, and in 2017 he called for an elected upper chamber to replace the Council of State. He is married with four children. Ida Adjoa Asiedu holds Ayensuano for the NPP today.
