About Samuel Ambre
Samuel Ambre is a teacher who represented Assin North in the Central Region for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) from 2013 to 2017. He was born at Oppong Valley in the Western Region on 1 March 1972.
Ambre holds a Bachelor of Education in early childhood care and development from the University of Education, Winneba and taught at Twifo Praso Basic School. He won Assin North in 2012 with 52 percent of the vote but lost in 2016 to the NPP's Abena Durowaa Mensah. He is a Methodist, married with three children. James Gyakye Quayson of the NDC holds the seat today.
