Abena Durowaa Mensah

Abena Durowaa Mensah is an insurance and marketing professional who represented Assin North in the Central Region for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) from 2017 to 2021. She was born at Assin Kushea on 21 June 1977.

She studied insurance at the Ghana Insurance College, took a marketing qualification from the Chartered Institute of Marketing and a marketing degree from Christian Service University College, and managed Esich Life Assurance in Sunyani. She won Assin North in 2016 with 56.8 percent of the vote and lost it in 2020 to the NDC's James Gyakye Quayson, whose election later went to the Supreme Court and a 2023 by-election. She is married with two children. Quayson still holds the seat.
