About Abukari Dawuni
Abukari Dawuni is a National Democratic Congress (NDC) politician who represented Wulensi in the Northern Region from 2021 to 2025. He was born in Wulensi on 27 January 1977 and holds a degree in administration (management technology).
In the 2020 election he took Wulensi from the NPP, beating Thomas Donkor Ogajah by about 1,000 votes with just under 51 percent of the vote. The seat changed hands again in 2024, when the independent candidate Stanley Yaw Nandaya won it.
