Ahmed Arthur is a contractor who represented Okaikwei South in Accra for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) for two terms, from 2013 to 2021. He comes from Nsuta Mampong in the Ashanti Region.
Arthur attended Accra Academy and Abuakwa State College and is managing director of Ackwell Enterprise, a contracting business. He won Okaikwei South in 2012 and was re-elected in 2016. He is married with three children. Ernest Adomako of the NDC holds the seat today.
