Albert Kwasi Zigah

Albert Kwasi Zigah is a transport operator who represented Ketu South in the Volta Region for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for two terms, from 2005 to 2013. He was born in Aflao on 15 November 1959.

Before politics he chaired the Aflao branch of the Ghana Private Road Transport Union, and he later studied at GIMPA. He won Ketu South in 2004 with 68.4 percent of the vote and in 2008 with almost 90 percent, one of the biggest margins in the country, and sat on the Local Government and Transport committees. When the NDC disqualified him from its December 2015 primary he took the party to the High Court. He is a Catholic, married with six children. Abla Dzifa Gomashie of the NDC holds Ketu South today.
