Kofi Amoako Bonah, known as B4Bonah, is a Ghanaian singer and rapper who mixes Afrobeats with trap. He was one of the new voices of the late 2010s Accra scene, known for the single "Indomie" and his 2019 mixtape B4Beginning.

Early releases

His first project, B 4Bonah Volume 1, came out around 2015 with songs including "Let's Party", "Grass to Grace" and "Street Life". In July 2017 the Tema-based label MIMLIFE Records, run by Mubarak Nkrumah, signed him at a ceremony at Level 8 Lounge in Airport, where he performed "Nkontonpo" and a remix of "Dear God". He followed up with "Devil is a Liar".

Indomie and B4Beginning

In October 2018 he released "Indomie", produced by Zodiac, a song about his rise from the streets. In June 2019 he shared "See Body", produced by J.Rocs, as the lead single of B4Beginning, a mixtape that featured Medikal, Mugeez of R2Bees, Amaarae and Ivy Sole. The release came with a merchandise capsule made with OkayAfrica.

Return

After a break of about three years he returned in 2023 with "Gb3nz3" and "4m Against", and in 2025 he released "Active", produced by Samsney.

Death rumours

On 28 October 2026 his management, B4Bonah Media, issued a statement denying online reports that he had died. The rumours started after a YouTuber shared birthday artwork of him that looked like an obituary poster. The team asked fans and the media to ignore the claims.
