About Elizabeth Amoah Tetteh
Elizabeth Amoah-Tetteh is an educationist who represented Twifo-Atti Morkwaa in the Central Region for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) from 2009 to 2013 and later served as Deputy Minister of Education in charge of pre-tertiary education. She was born on 25 November 1945 and comes from Twifo-Abodom.
She trained in physical education at the Specialist Training College in Winneba and worked for the Ghana Education Service, becoming assistant director for data collection in the Teacher Education Division. She won the seat in 2008 with 51.4 percent of the vote against Abraham Dwuma Odoom of the NPP. She is married with seven children. David Vondee of the NDC holds the seat today.
