About Francis Yaw Osei Sarfo
Francis Yaw Osei Sarfo is an administrator who represented Krachi West, in today's Oti Region, for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for two terms, from 2005 to 2013. He was born on 1 October 1955 and comes from Bejamse.
He graduated in political science and geography from the University of Ghana in 1981 and studied at the Ghana School of Law. He was District Chief Executive from 1996 to 2001 and managing director of Akpabe Impex. He won Krachi West in 2004 with 44.9 percent in a six-way race and held it in 2008. Helen Adjoa Ntoso of the NDC followed him in 2013 and still holds the seat. He is married with six children.
