About George Kuntu Blankson
George Kuntu Blankson is a social scientist and businessman who represented Mfantseman East in the Central Region for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for two terms, from 2005 to 2013. He comes from Ekumfi-Otuam.
He studied at Nico Lopez University in Cuba, graduating in 1987, and later in Washington DC. He was District Chief Executive for Mfantseman from 1997 to 2001 and managing director of Jesus Cares Enterprises. He won Mfantseman East in 2004 and 2008, both times against Kwamina Amoasi-Andoh of the NPP. The area became the Ekumfi constituency in 2012. He worships with the Church of Pentecost and is married with six children.
