George Nenyi Kojo Andah

George Nenyi Kojo Andah is a marketing executive, chief and New Patriotic Party (NPP) politician who represented Awutu Senya West in the Central Region from 2017 to 2021 and served as a Deputy Minister for Communications. He was born on 27 April 1970 in Senya Beraku.

Telecoms marketer

Andah attended Achimota School, studied biochemistry at KNUST and took an MBA in marketing at the University of Ghana Business School. His career took him through the top of West Africa's consumer and telecoms industries: marketing director at Guinness Ghana, chief marketing officer at Scancom (MTN Ghana) and at Bharti Airtel Nigeria, country manager of Glo Mobile Ghana and a regional marketing director at Globacom. He later founded Rudder Solutions, a market development consultancy, and was named Marketing Man of the Year by the Chartered Institute of Marketing Ghana in 2008.

Occupy Ghana and politics

He was a founding member of the pressure group Occupy Ghana before entering Parliament in 2016. In June 2021 he was installed as Akyempim Odefey of the Senya Beraku Traditional Area, with the stool name Nenyi Kobena Andakwei VI. Gizella Tetteh-Agbotui of the NDC holds the seat today.
