About Gifty Klenam
Gifty Klenam is an industrialist and farmer who represented Lower West Akim in the Eastern Region for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) from 2009 to 2017 and later chaired the Ghana Export Promotion Authority. She was born on 12 July 1970 and comes from Asamankese.
Klenam was chief executive of Sunharvest Company at Pokuase. She won the seat in 2008 and 2012 but lost the 2015 primary to Eyiah Kyei Baffour. She worships at the International Central Gospel Church and is married with two children. Owen Kwame Frimpong of the NDC holds the seat today.
