About M3NSA
M3NSA, born Mensa Ansah in Accra in 1981, is a producer, composer, rapper, singer and filmmaker. He is the third son of Tumi Ebo Ansah, formerly of the Afro-pop band Osibisa.
Career
He started out as a rapper in The Lifeline Family, a group he founded. When it broke up he turned to production, first for Reggie Rockstone and then for Samini, KK Fosu, Obour and Tic Tac. As a performer he has toured with Wu-Tang Clan and The Roots. With Wanlov the Kubolor he formed the duo FOKN Bois, whose Coz Ov Moni (2010) was billed as the first pidgin musical film.
